🍃A Tasteful Wollemi Adventure🍃
Larger Group Adventure
The beautiful Wollemi National Park spans over 501,763 hectares and is NSW second largest National Park that forms part of the Greater Blue Mountains area. Join Hikeandseek on a special private day out adventuring to this area to experience the wondrous features such as expansive valley views, wildlife spotting (especially a unique variety of birds), walk in canyons and waterholes and chance to escape where the reception (mobile) is weaker. Hikeandseek wishes to share this unique experience with hikers, outoor-lovers and adventure goers of most experience levels.
Relaunching the Wollemi adventure after the fixing of the Glow Worm Tunnel Road post-heavy rains, experience a myriad of different scenes such as glow worms, small walk-in canyons (dry and wet), incredible valley views and a great slice of history to the lower Wollemi area.
🌄Meeting Time and Location: 8:00am at Clarence -Exact Meeting Location will be provided a week before the event via follow-up itinerary and update. TRANSPORTATION MUST BE SELF-ARRANGED - There is also over an hour’s worth of driving in between to travel on unsealed roads (good condition) during the tour.

Some basic scrambling required. Some off trail walking and light bush bashing will be involved. There will be a chance to experience off trail walking (Feel free to enquire more about your fitness suitability for the day)

Extra Notes: Limited to No Mobile Reception, Some Personal Photos + Tour Group Photos will be uploaded online and provided within a few days of the tour, General Guide of the locations and other features of the bush will be given. Toilet availability is also limited so the bush may call for these moments.

The Day’s Itinerary will be outlined to confirmed participants and will visit a few locations within Wollemi National Park on the day to witness and experience a variety of landmarks, flora and fauna of which nature presents us.
Some of the locations visited will include and not limited to the much loved Glow Worm Tunnel and Dry Canyon as well as a lookout over the Wolgan Valley. Time permitting - a refreshment stop along the way back at one of the Northern Blue Mountain Cider breweries is also on the cards.

· Sun Protection
· Head Lamp/Torch (Preferably with red light - Red Cellophane and tape will be provided for those without)
· Food and snacks including lunch (Resting time will be given to have meals and snacks)
· Small Backpack
· Sturdy Hiking Shoes, Sturdy enclosed outdoor shoes recommended
· Optional Swimmers and Towel
· 3 Litres of Water (Half may be left in the car during the hike)
· Camera
· Optional Hiking Poles and Gaiters
· Please let one other person know of your whereabouts for the trip.
