Multiday (Overnight) Hikes are a great way to enhance your experience in the bush and enable you to spend more than just a day immersed in the outdoors. However this is rarely an option for most people as there are many limitations to stepping into the realm of multiday hikes. A standard overnight hike usually requires a lot more equipment than one usually carries on a day hike and it is usually not a cost-effective means to purchase a whole bunch of gear for an overnight hike only to find out it is not your thing! However, this shouldn’t stop you from having a go though! First timers, Second Timers and more experienced participants are all welcome!
It may be a daunting task to prepare for an overnight hike and Hikeandseek is here to provide some advice on how to prepare for one in a variety of ways, including budget, seasonal and perhaps for some to equip themselves the best way possible - although this will be highly different from hiker to hiker. On some occasions Hikeandseek may provide some equipment and overnight hiking goods for hire.
