🍃Multi-Day Wollemi Wonders Adventure🍃
Three days spent in the beautiful Wollemi National Park with visits to a wide variety of different environments whilst camping in some pristine areas to experience being surrounded by nature. Canyons, Waterways, Lost in nature, flora and fauna, you name it! Do the hard yards and find yourself rewarded with this easy-moderate grade Multi-Day Adventure in Wollemi National Park. The experience will culminate in camping in the depths of nature. Suitable for lesser experienced participants with a reasonable level of fitness.
BASIC ITINERARY
Day 1 – Drive into Wollemi National Park. Begin walk with day packs into Deep Pass and include briefings, safety and orienteering information.. Begin mini walk-in canyon adventure with daypacks. Swimming/Having a dip is an option here. Return to car and continue to next location. Repack into overnight bags and head into Wollemi Wilderness. Set up Camp with short adventuring around the area. View Sunset from the valley views. Stargazing will be at a premium on a clear night.
Day 2 – Wake up for sunrise. After resting a little longer and breakfast, Pack up Camp and return to vehicle(s). Travel briefly via car to start of second walk. Repack Overnight Packs and walk to Goochs Crater. Set up Camp at the camp cave featured here and continue adventuring around the area walking off trail and visiting the mini canyon.
Day 3 – View Sunrise from atop Goochs Crater and have a relaxing morning. After breakfast, pack up camp and head out of Wollemi National Park. On the way back to Sydney drop by a short walk to Northern Blue Mountains Lookout and stop for refreshments.
There will be ongoing communication between participants and Hikeandseek prior to this event As with any Hikeandseek tour, I will strive to introduce more features of the area to you that will not otherwise be discoverable via mainstream methods or following the beaten path as well as prevalent on social media platforms. Transportation will be arranged with all participants and will be covered by Hikeandseek from pickup location to same drop off - Most likely Westmead Station

· 4 x overnight hiking meals and a choice of snacks – (freeze dried or other) 1 x breakfast/lunch + 1 x lunch + 2 x dinner, some snacks (All other meals self catered - this will be outlined in itinerary)
· Hikeandseek Guiding Fee and Tour (includes navigation and basic orienteering introduction)

Essential Overnight Hike Checklist (Will be checked with each person)
· Sleeping Bag (Current Night Temps in zone can fall to under 15 degrees)
· Overnight Backpack – (50L+ must fit or be able to carry all gear for walk)
· Sleeping Mat (Basic Kmart Mat can suffice as a one off)
· Headlamp
· Cooking Stove/Equipment (Enquire for advice if first time, some equipment may be shared)
· Tent/Tarp/Swag/Mozzie Net – Sleeping Quarters
· Water Bladder/Bottle/Compartments totalling 3L minimum
** Note: If you have no gear it may be daunting task to start from square one. Please send an enquiry for some advice on where to begin for overnight hiking gear. Comfort may also play a factor in your set up due to multiple days being spent in the sleeping quarters and hiking. Buying the very best of everything right away may not be an available option for everybody. Hikeandseek has some limited overnight hiking gear for hire available.
