Join Hikeandseek on a fun filled water activity day on a beginner’s section of the Wollangambe River. There are many canyoning options available along the Wollangambe River and its creeks with the Wollangambe One Canyoning course being arguably most frequented section of the river. Hikeandseek will guide this tour to a lesser frequented section of the Wollangambe – also a shorter and somewhat less technically difficult open canyon section than the Wollangambe One. After just over an hour’s hike, we will inflate our lilos and set off on the floating/wading part of the canyon. This should last 2-3 hours before we head back out of the river on the tough hour’s return walk.
Grade

This section of the Wollangambe River is of an easy grade. However, participants must be able to hike in and out of the river which involves up to 350m sustained ascent along well formed track. All wet surfaces are are prone to being slippery - even though this is a very easy grade open canyon, caution should always be exercised.
